{"id":165,"date":"2017-09-21T22:59:35","date_gmt":"2017-09-21T22:59:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sites.law.berkeley.edu\/bbb\/?p=165"},"modified":"2017-09-25T22:20:32","modified_gmt":"2017-09-25T22:20:32","slug":"bake-sale","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.law.berkeley.edu\/bbb\/2017\/09\/21\/bake-sale\/","title":{"rendered":"Bake Sale"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Please join us on Thursday, Sept. 28,\u00a0from 8am to 2pm, in the Donor Lobby for a\u00a0<strong>BAKE SALE<\/strong>\u00a0to support two amazing organizations that are doing incredibly important work helping individuals with DACA applications.\u00a0 The organizations are:<\/p>\n<p><strong>East Bay Community Law Center<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>East Bay Sanctuary Covenant<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All proceeds raised will be split in half and shared equally with these two organizations.<\/p>\n<p>We will have coffee for sale by the\u00a0<strong>1951 Coffee Company<\/strong>, a non-profit specialty organization seeking to promote the well-being of the Bay Area refugee community. The company provides job training and employment for refugees and asylees, while educating the community about refugee life and issues.<\/p>\n<p>We need your help in two ways:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Please bake something\u2014sweet or savory\u2014now is your moment to shine. We welcome all goodies\u2014healthy or not healthy. If they have nuts, please make that clear. And, of course, vegan items are welcome!<\/li>\n<li>Please come and buy something!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Thank you for your help and support.
