Bridges Professor of Law, Emeritus<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dept.\/Unit<\/strong>: Law school faculty<\/p>\n<p><strong>When I started working here<\/strong>: 1967<\/p>\n<p><strong>What I do in five words or less<\/strong>: Hike, write, share and pray.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The best part about working here<\/strong>: The collegiality here at the law school and the &#8220;committee of the whole person&#8221; that pulled the faculty together every Friday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Something you don\u2019t know about me<\/strong>: I was the last man to drop kick an extra point in college football, in 1949.<\/p>\n<p><strong>One weird fact about the town that I grew up in<\/strong>: I grew up in Duluth, Minnesota and shared my town with the wonderful black bears who invaded our privacy\u2014which lead some bears to their demise. One even broke into a bar in town to raid the food scraps and ended up becoming a permanent fixture on the wall.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If I could have any job in the world (besides the one I have now) it would be<\/strong>: I would love to be a successful lead singer with a dance band that played music from the 1930&#8217;s and 1940&#8217;s. I&#8217;d also love to continue to write musical farces for the faculty Christmas party. This year, the title of our production is: &#8220;T-Rump and the Chasm of Dumb.&#8221; You can guess what it may be about!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Name: Jack Coons Title: Robert L.
