BLAST is offering five trips in the 2018-19 school year. Each of these trips will take place over spring break (March 23-31).
Trips will be funded in large part by the generous support of the Berkeley Law Pro Bono Program. However, students will be expected to participate in various fundraising events and initiatives throughout the year.
Students will also take part in monthly meetings leading up to the trips, where they will explore the legal issues affecting the regions and populations they will be serving, the unique cultures and histories of the places they will be visiting, and learning about public interest lawyering more generally.
